I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix - 6 cylinder, and soon as I start my car, it's loud and ready to take off, and when I put it in drives, it jerks like it's already going 20 miles per hour, also it always trys to speed up, I tried to remove it off cruise control but don't work - it's drinking my gas like this..the manual is too confusing sorry (also, too lazy to figure it out) please help, thanksMy car is stuck in cruise control - it revs up when in park?
its more likely the throttle is sticking. Have someone look at it or try lubricating the cable.

look under the hood an find the throttle body you going to have 2 cables
attached to it remove the cruise control cable and your issue will be fixed.more than likely whats going on is the cable is stuck so if you don't use the cruise remove it and call it done
That happened to me before and when I took it in to get it checked out, there was something wrong with something in the computer system. I'm sorry that I don't remember what the cost was to get it fixed.
