How much is non-prescription birth control? And how long should i be on it before i do anything?

I only need to know the prices of non-prescription please and thank you :) And like, do i need to take it a few weeks before i have sex? Or longer than that or even shorter? Thanks. And please don't answer saying something like ';if you need to know al of this, you shouldnt be having sex'; i know i shouldnt, and that im too young, but life is short.. and everyone has different opinions alright? Thanks again :)How much is non-prescription birth control? And how long should i be on it before i do anything?
I am sure you can not even purchase non prescription birth control pills. To get them you will have to see a doctor for a prescription or go to a planned parent hood clinic. In any case you need to be taking them for a full cycle before its safe to have unprotected sex.How much is non-prescription birth control? And how long should i be on it before i do anything?
Sadly, I can't really help you there. However, I'd recommend that you go to the doctor %26amp; get them on prescription instead, as there's no way of telling how your body will react to any medication. Your doctor should know about any medications or lifestyle changes you make anyway, should a complication arise, or - in drastic circumstances - you're taken to hospital %26amp; you're unable to inform the doctors there as to what you've taken.

Also - if you're under 16, it's not a case of different opinions, it's the law. Underage sex is considered as statutory rape %26amp; can lead to a jail sentence.

As to ';life is short'; - this isn't the only time you're ever going to get to have sex. You have a good number a decades ahead of you yet, so there's really no rush. Life's only short if you make it that way.

As you said though, it is your decision, so good luck with whatever happens. Sorry I couldn't help with the non-prescription drugs, though I would recommend you see your doctor instead, or at least use a different method of contraception.

Hope this helped.
If you are in the Us, you would have to get to a Planned Parenthood or get a prescription. 1-800-230-PLAN (1-800-230-7526) to find the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you. If you are underage it will mostly likely be free.

Other than that the only non-prescription birth control is herbal. I used herbal birth control for two yrs successfully but that route takes a lot of time, dedication and knowledge of your body and the herbs you use. The only other ting I can think of is . . . .

Provoke a period. You can do this by using Vitamin C.

Take 6-12 grams of ascorbic acid - vitamin C a day for 5-10 days. Specifically ascorbic acid. Do not use vitamin C with bioflaviniods or anything that has Rose-hips in it. Look for the cheap generic brands, they are usually the ones that have pure ascorbic acid. Doses consisting of one 500 mg tablet per hour are most common.

The vitamin C -ascorbic acid- works to produce an unfavorable climate within the uterus so that the egg does not implant, or cannot maintain its grip on the uterine wall. By stimulating estrogen, and possibly interfering with progesterone. Thus making it useful as an emergency contraceptive, when taking it before implantation occurs.

Progesterone is needed to prepare the uterus to receive the egg, the uterine lining builds up each month, and if the egg is not fertilized then this is what becomes the menstrual blood, when the lining is shed to prepare for the next cycle.

If you have any questions about it, email me. I have used these methods successfully before. I take 1,000mg every two hours.

How and why birth control fails and who it fails the most.
Yes, you do need to have a prescription for a birth control. Visit your GP or a planned parenthood to get a prescription.

You do not need a prescription for the morning after pill (in most states), it can be obtained from most pharmacy's or a planned parenthood - they are over the counter.
