Is it a good idea to take Emergency Contraception occasionally as a birth control method?

I really don't want to go on the pill, so could I just take EC each time I have unprotected sex? Would it have the same effect? Or is it potentially harmful to use it that much? (once each weekend)Is it a good idea to take Emergency Contraception occasionally as a birth control method?
Don't be so lazy. Go on the pill or use a condom. What part of emergency contraception makes you think its ok for everyday/weekend?Is it a good idea to take Emergency Contraception occasionally as a birth control method?
Emergency contraception is designed for just that, an emergency. It is not designed to be used regularly. The high doses of hormones can really screw with your body. Do your body a favor and get on the pill. Besides, the birth control pill is 99.9% effective when taken properly, Plan B is only about 85% effective.
It's questions like these that make it harder for women who really need it to get it as an OTC medication and not a prescription. Plan B is not a birth control method and should only be used in case of an emergency, which this is not. Don't listen to your boyfriend. While condoms might lower his sensation, they do not completely diminish it. There are many different styles of condoms (ribbed, studded, thin, warming) that you can try to find out which works best for him. Either tell him that if he wants to be with you he needs to use a condom or get on the pill, it's as simple as that.
No. Bad idea. The best, and only guarenteed contraception is abstinance.
The Plan b is just an emergency thing ONLY.. and should only be used that way.. by taking the plan B pill you are putting more hormones in your body then the pill... so if you plan to do it this way you should get on the pill (less hormones)..

Beside the plan b pill messes up your period, and body and it could be very harmful. Once again should ONLY BE USED IN AN EMERGENCY..

There are other alternative then the pill, speak to your docotr
bad idea. planned parenthood only gives out a couple per girl. mainly because its for emergencys only. if u dont want to go on the pill. then try the patch. i used it for over a year. sooo easy!
it isnt ment to be used in that fashion. its ment as a once in a very seldom time, other, more apprioriate birth control methods should be used first, such as a condom or birth control. you should consult a dr before making that decision.
YES, WHY WOULD IT BE WRONG
