Is it still possible to have a period when you are on birth control?

If you had bleeding during active pills, most probably you missed a pill (read below)Is it still possible to have a period when you are on birth control?
Yes, it is possible for you to have your period when on birth control. The whole point of birth control is not to get you pregnant, which means you'll still have your monthly period.

If you're talking about the pill, what it does is increase the levels of progesterone (pregnancy hormone) so that your body will think that you're pregnant so it won't be releasing another ovum (I don't know how long this goes). This may stop or delay your period. Is it still possible to have a period when you are on birth control?
yes! its happened to me! basically you body thinks oh no we havent had a period for a while better have one. especially if you've gone back to back on packs. Just stop the birth control for the period and then after seven days go back on it. it should go back to normal!
yes. birth control only prevents pregnancy. you still have a period but its more regular. you might skip the first month getting use to the new cycle. but you will still have a period.
It depends on the type. If you're on the pill or the patch then you should. If you're on the shot, it's normal not to have a period.
You are suppose to get your period when you are on birthcontrol.. Birthcontrol helps you know when you should get your period. It comes every month at the same time. So yesyou are suppose to have a period
Yes, though some birth controls allow you to have less or no periods.

You really should not be on birth control for pregnancy protection if you have to ask common sense questions like this.
Yes you will still have your period. Birth control usually makes your periods more regular.
