Is it legal for a parent to keep a child inside the house all the time, not allowing them to see anyone their own age expect at school, not letting them go out and enjoy thier teenage years? Is it legal for a parent to have total control over a child?
Contrary to most of the answers that you have received, it is ot so cut %26amp; dried that you can make a strict yes or no answer. Most jurisidictions have very general laws that prohibit ';child neglect';. Refunds a child any outside contact could be considered emotional abuse and thus subject the parents to prosecution. Is it legal for a parent to have total control over a child?
Yes
yes unfortunately it is. i understand exactly where youre coming from. It looks like a trust thing with you and your parents. This kind of treatment is the cause of a lot of run aways. and it doesn't have to go this extreme. if only there was better communication .
yes man its fully legal from GOD ...
they are there for u from ur GOD ... He is the one who is inside them ...
when u do some thing wrong or which would hurt u in longrun ...
respect ur parents and obey them ...
not only legit, but required and necessary
no but it should every child needs their freedom not i going to do what i want to when i want to freedom a parent must have control over their child but what is life if you have not enjoyed it keep an eye on your child but give them their freedom.
Yep. But that doesn't make it right.
Someone that they respect could try to talk some sence into the parents... This doesn't exactly sound like a case for the clild protection agency.
With the laws we have today you must be careful and not do something Illegal. The PD where I live is more than happy to inform parents of what they can and cannot do to get control of their kids. The laws in my state are not as strict as in others. In fact, my state has a law giving parents the right to spank their children. NoT beat their children, but spank. We are either the last state or one of the last states that allow Corporeal Punishment (Paddling) in schools.
Check with a legal authority as to what you can do in your state.
I personally don't like spanking and try to avoid doing it. I will do it if it's necessary. When my daugher was first learning to ride a bike, she disobeyed me and almost got ran over by a car. She got Spanked. She was 5. She got spanked when she was 7 and again when she was 9. I finally understood what my parents used to say: ';This will hurt me more than it will hurt you';. The child suffers physical pain that goes away in a short time. The parent suffers emotional pain, such as guilt, for the rest of their lives.
Yes, it's legal, at least until the child turns eighteen. The law won't get involved unless there's reason to believe the child is being abused or neglected in some way.
Most parents can be persuaded (eventually) to ease up a little; just don't try the ';it's illegal'; argument, that won't scare them at all.
It is not only legal but it is a parent's responsibility. A parent is legally responsible for a child under the age of 18.

Am i pregnant or is it because of the birth control pills?
I started taking birth control pills at the very end of Oct.. The first day of my last period was on the 21st of Nov., and i had sex on the 25th. i stopped taking the pills on the 6th of Dec., and now i am 11 days late. the week i was supposed to start i was cramping like i was going to start but there was nothing. could it be cause the pills or am i prenant?Am i pregnant or is it because of the birth control pills?
I think that your body is all over the play due to the pills, don't stop taking them, continue on so that they can work and help with your cycle, however, watch out for some symptoms of pregnancy, check them and then see your doctor
Tender, swollen breasts
One of the early signs of pregnancy is sensitive, sore breasts caused by increasing levels of hormones. The soreness may feel like an exaggerated version of how your breasts feel before your period. Your discomfort should diminish significantly after the first trimester, as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes.
Fatigue
Feeling tired all of a sudden? No, make that exhausted. No one knows for sure what causes early pregnancy fatigue, but it's possible that rapidly increasing levels of the hormone progesterone are contributing to your sleepiness.
You should start to feel more energetic once you hit your second trimester, although fatigue usually returns late in pregnancy when you're carrying around a lot more weight and some of the common discomforts of pregnancy make it more difficult to get a good night's sleep
Nausea or vomiting
If you're like most women, morning sickness won't hit until about a month after conception. (A lucky few escape it altogether.) But some women do start to feel queasy a bit earlier. And not just in the morning, either 鈥?pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting can be a problem morning, noon, or night.
About half of women with nausea feel complete relief by the beginning of the second trimester. For most others it takes another month or so for the queasiness to ease up.
Increased sensitivity to odors
If you're newly pregnant, it's not uncommon to feel repelled by the smell of a bologna sandwich or cup of coffee and for certain aromas to trigger your gag reflex. Though no one knows for sure, this may be a side effect of rapidly increasing amounts of estrogen in your system. You may also find that certain foods you used to enjoy are suddenly completely repulsive to you.
Abdominal bloating
Hormonal changes in early pregnancy may leave you feeling bloated, similar to the feeling some women have just before their period arrives. That's why your clothes may feel snugger than usual at the waistline, even early on when your uterus is still quite small.
Frequent urination
Shortly after you become pregnant, you may find yourself hurrying to the bathroom all the time. Why? Mostly because during pregnancy the amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases, which leads to extra fluid being processed by your kidneys and ending up in your bladder.
This symptom may start as early as six weeks into your first trimester and continue or worsen as your pregnancy progresses and your growing baby exerts more pressure on your bladder.
A missed period
If you're usually pretty regular and your period doesn't arrive on time, you'll probably take a pregnancy test long before you notice any of the above symptoms. But if you're not regular or you're not keeping track of your cycle, nausea and breast tenderness and extra trips to the bathroom may signal pregnancy before you realize you didn't get your period.
Your basal body temperature stays high
If you've been charting your basal body temperature and you see that your temperature has stayed elevated for 18 days in a row, you're probably pregnant
Good luck.
*-*Am i pregnant or is it because of the birth control pills?
u can be pregnant. u shouldve continued to take the pills.
well it could be that u havent taken the pill in awile . but i think that you could be pregnant . so go and take a test . good luck
It could be either. Take a pregnancy test to be sure.
Your cycle will be irregular for a little while after you stop taking them.
If you're still sexually active, though, you might as well continue taking birth control.

Is it true that taking birth control for your acne will?
is it true that taking birth control for your acne will stop you from having babies when your older ?
and does birth control work and reduce acne ?Is it true that taking birth control for your acne will?
Birth control works if taken properly, and no it won't affect your future fertility. As soon as you come off of the pill your body begins to prepare itself for pregnancy just as it was before you took the pill. I do find that it has helped clear my skin.Is it true that taking birth control for your acne will?
no it will only stop you from getting pregnant while you are taking it,it wont be effective after you discontinue using.
Yes,it does work for clearing your skin, well atleast on my skin but since i've stop taking it my skin is starting to go back to breaking out.But hope i've helped.
If you are taking the birth control pill, it will not effect future children.
It works if you take it like you are supposed to, and your doctor should explain it to you. You HAVE to take it at the same time everyday.
Some pills help with acne too.
It will help prevent pregnancies while taking it, but after you go off of it, unless something else is wrong with your body you will be able to become pregnant. Remember though, birth control is not full proof, a person can still get pregnant while taking it.
Yes, it does reduce acne for most people.

Is it safe for a 36 year old to use birth control pills?
Or are those better used by those in their teens or 20's? I do not smoke.
If not, what birth control would you suggest for a married, monogamous woman? Is it safe for a 36 year old to use birth control pills?
It's safe. They only say that after 35, if you smoke, your chances of cancer go up.
But you don't smoke, so don't sweat it.
I suggest taking them and if you aren't comfy with them, go talk to your doctor.
Good luck :)Is it safe for a 36 year old to use birth control pills?
i think i would avoid it if it was me.it is prb up to the person how they feel about it.there is the diafram, iud,i used encare ovals suppositories.but there is a 10 min waiting time for them to melt before sex.might ask you doctor or heath unit for some good tips.
it's safe, but after age 35 the risks associated with smoking and being on the pill are greatly increased.
Compare it to the patch
I think both are relatively safe as long as you do not smoke or have other health problems
Of course! I would suggest asking your doctor what BC would work better for you. Everyone is different so this might vary. Personally, the Nuvaring works best for me. It is a vaginial insert (totally comfortable-you or your husband will never know it's there) contraceptive. It is on time release; this ensures a more even distribution of hormones, and you don't have to remember to take a pill every day!
Good Luck!
