Is it true that improper use of birth control can make you more fertile?

I have heard that using birth control improperly or trying to conceive directly after you get off of the pill is likely to make you more fertile. Yet I have also heard that you should wait a few months for the drugs to get out of your system before trying to conceive. Which is true and why?Is it true that improper use of birth control can make you more fertile?
How do you improperly use your birth control? I've never heard of it making you more fertile, but then again, I'm not a birth control expert. Is it true that improper use of birth control can make you more fertile?
You should wait a few months to conceive. No, it doens't make you more fertile. It simply makes your body less predictable. Your body gets out of a forced rythym and does it's own thing so to speak. People are not more fertile because of improper use-they are just simply not careful because they think they are protected-false sense of security=pregnant. When people get pregnant while on birth control, they assume it made them more fertile, rather than saying they forgot to take it or skipped it and had sex.

Waiting for it to clear your system...it may or may not affect your ability to conceive. It depends on your body. It should clear your system in no more than two weeks, but it is believed that getting pregnant while on birth control can be linked to some birth defect-although none are clinically proven. This is why you should wait a few months...
There is NO reason to wait for the BCP to get ';out of the system'; its not going to harm the child to start... usually it will take 1-2 cycles at LEAST to get pregnant after getting off BCP anyhow. As for the fertile thing it doesnt make sense because even though the cycle comes back you cant really time Ovulation like you normally can because the BCP throws it off for a while so no it wont make you more fertile if anything youd be less fertile.
