Why is it so commonly believed by americans that large corporations control our government?

and if so many people feel this way, why is the status quo looking like its going to get worst ..not better? Why is it so commonly believed by americans that large corporations control our government?
While I think the tendency is greatly exaggerated, I do think we have a problem with politicians being bought. First in the absolutely illegal way with bribes, but also with campaign funding.

Large Corperations %26amp; rich people have an undue influence over our politicians, but they don't absolutely control our government. Why is it so commonly believed by americans that large corporations control our government?
Because that's the way it is, and people are to set in their ways,

and so unable to see anybody other than a Republicrat running things that I don't really know if we can pull out of this nosedive in time, if ever.
Large corporations do control much of what the government does. The control that they use is money contributed to elected officials with the understanding that those officials will produce legislation that is favorable to those corporations.

This is one of the factors that candidates such as Edwards and Obama have promised to try and do away with. This is one reason that there are so many legislative earmarks attached to bills in Congress that cost so much money that favor only a few of the people.
Reading is required to understand the big picture, fortunately some of us still do that.

';Corporations determine far more

than any other institution the

air we breath, the quality of the

water we drink, even where we live.

Yet they are not accountable to anyone.';

Not that many Americans believe that, it just seems that way because all the ones who believe that talk about it all the time.
It is exactly like that, that's why we have high prices, there are no regulations on corporations any more so the sell as high as the market wil bear.

30 Years ago A new car costs $3000-3500. The a guy named Reagan came in stripped away all government regulations and now a car that still costs around $11,000. to build will cost you over $35,000.00!

This is profiteering and when Corporations have the upper hand over government you are creating a facist system.

Our lawmakers are making huge fortunes off the corporations so they don't care, but us the 297 million americans that are not worth a million dollars have to pay the price!

The book below outlines these very problems and how to resolve them...
Because it is true. For example the insurance companies lobby the legislators to pass law requiring all driver manadory car insurance. Insurance company tighten pricing after the law is passed, so that compatition is a joke.

Then the Insurance company like Geico donate around $24,000,000.00 a year of free radar equipment to police dept, why because they knoe if you or I get a speeding ticket our insurance will go up 29% for the next three years. So, you tell me , who's being set up!
It is true.

The corruporations have hi-jacked the GOVT and enslaved the masses.

Laws have be passes to legalize stealing by corruporations. It is all about money,
Delphi! The Oracle. Pythia. Spot on!
because it's true. they wrote our energy laws, our drug laws, etc.
By living, working, shopping, listening. It is sadly evident. At the moment it is status quo. But it won't be this way forever.
