You can setup a remote desktop, so that you can control your desktop from the other room or w/e. This will also display your desktops screen and lock your desktop. Now if both ur computers have vista, you will be able to control your desktop, while leaving it unlocked. You could also set it up to lock it when in remote desktop if desired. Hope this helps
